Yesterday was a great day out with Vivien and ah Kon. Although I've been there four times, it was with different groups of friends and it felt different! And it had been a long expectation, since it was cancelled previously due to me and ah kon not feeling well. The great thing was that, I finally sang FIRST LOVE with ah kon! woohoo~ and I found it amazing too that, just said ah kon phrased it, 想不到让我们high的不是五月天而是F4, because we held hands and sang in high spirits for F4's 烟火的季节! And also, 《环珠格格》's songs! Really a great day.

So today, I've finally finished The Pianist. I've watched it on youtube as well, although there isn't any subtitle. Wars always brought about painful memories, and the purpose is always controversial. But the main thing to me is, the spirits of those people living in wartimes. Their determination to be alive and to find ways out as long as they can, despite the conditions they were in, whereby gunshots hand grenades and bombs sounded everywhere every single day. It was even more depressing to see others being shot down for no reason than being tortured. I seriously doubt my ability to hold on and continue survival at those situations, given that it is already so pessmistic for me now here. The author has got poison with him at a certain point in time, but he never attempted to take it unless he knew that for sure he had no other way out and would be captured by the Germans. And he holds no grudge or revengeful spirit, as Wolf Biermann who wrote the epilogue mentioned. I think, besides the reason that he had studied music in Berlin before and felt that Germans are very musically talented, it is also meaningless for him to keep those things in mind. It neither bring his family back, nor gives him a peace of mind. And he has better things to do, which is to be involved in music.

There are many things to ponder. It is easy to ponder, but how to think in the correct ways, react appropriately and change necessarily? Even the definitions of appropriateness and necessarity depend on the situations. There is just no fixed or expected incidents that might happen.
